    when I check people who are successful at their craft, they most of the time are:

    • making instead of consuming
    • are really good at one thing
    • have worked relentlessly
    • focus on quality
    • are excellent communicators

  • pressure

    when the pressure is high, you do it. when preparation is needed, before someone can proceed, you do it!

  • falling behind

    An old friend of mine just became CEO of a big company. He grew up in a “bad” neighborhood. An acquaintance of mine became the CFO of a big corporation. He was always slacking in his teens and early twenties. I was always working my ass off to earn money to pay for my school and rent, but then again, I never truly felt successful and still don’t. Don’t get me wrong. Being a CEO or CFO doesn’t mean someone is successful in life.

    Why does it feel like I’m falling behind?

    To make a change, I need to get after things I need to be doing and feel like I’m growing doing so.

    Start with:

    • Doing the things that are most important
    • Be structural about it
    • Do hard things
  • 75 hard

    failed on the first day starting the 75 hard challenge. it’s hard because the first thing you’ve to do is the hardest one. when you successfully checked off the first challenge you’re on a roll.

    For me that is getting up at 6, take my daily vitamines, drink water and start training the first 45min indoors.

    Lets start again tomorrow.

  • a new dawn

    Goal

    • Quit video addiction
    • Quit being lazy
    • Start creating
    • Start being healty

    Again.

    How can I make this stick? To do a hard challenge as a parent, freelancer and friend.

    New daily habits

    1. Drink water: depends on the day, but mostly 2L per day
    2. Diet: no sweets, no sugar drinks
    3. 2x exercises a day: min. of 30min every day
    4. no alcohol
    5. read 2 pages: non-fiction or fiction
    6. create something every week: music, something with kids
    7. document progress daily

    Habits I quit

    1. Stayin in bed
    2. Phone use without reason: in front of kids, in bed
    3. Unfinished business
