Taking control

I haven’t taken full control yet, but I’m trying.

Yesterday felt like the first step.

Now comes the hard part: continuing to feel that way—and acting on it.

I’m a designer by profession, but I feel like I’ve neglected it for a long time. It was my passion. I used to design in my free time, take photos, and share them on Instagram for friends and family to see.

Now it’s endless scrolling, listening, and watching media without ever doing anything with the knowledge. It gets frustrating when I go to bed and think about how the day went.

I almost never feel like I’ve used my time to the fullest.

Taking control is the first step. What I’m trying to do now is:

  • Make a daily plan
  • Do one important task
  • Do something meaningful in the evening before bed
